Presbyopia eye drops
Patients looking up presbyopia eye drops in Moreno Valley (The District / Town Circle, inside LensCrafters) and Chino (inside Sam’s Club #6610) can start with a Fenix Lumi eye exam. We are independent doctors of optometry — not Sam’s Club and not LensCrafters. Some FDA-approved prescription drops temporarily improve near vision by making the pupil smaller (a pinhole effect), most often pilocarpine 1.25% products such as Vuity, and related miotic drops. They do not reverse aging of the lens. They are not for everyone. We examine the retina, discuss night driving, headaches, and rare but serious risks, then prescribe only if the fit is reasonable.
- Typically used for mild to moderate presbyopia in adults
- Effects are temporary; you still need a current exam and a plan for glasses or contacts
- Possible effects include dimmer night vision, brow ache, and redness
- Rare retinal tears or detachment have been reported with miotics — flashes, floaters, or a curtain of vision need urgent care
- Not a substitute for cataract evaluation if the lens is already cloudy
We do not sell specific brand samples on this website. Brand availability and labeling can change — your doctor will use what is appropriate and current.
